Most people have never heard of Pau d’Arco Tea but if you struggle with Candida overgrowth then this powerful herb might just become your best friend.
The Teheebo tree grows mainly in Argentina and Brazil and has been used for centuries by the native inhabitants of the region not only for their bows but also for it’s medicinal properties. Even though Pau d’Arco grows in some very moist places, the tree never gets fungal growth because of the anti-microbial properties of the bark.
The bark of the Taheebo tree contains a compound known as lapachol which is thought to be the source of Pau d’Arco’s medicinal characteristics.
How It Treats Candida albicans Infections
Pau d’Arco has the following known effects on the human body.
- It has anti-microbial properties.
- It strengthens the immune system.
- It helps detoxify the body.
- Promotes healthy blood.
By adding this tea to your Candida eliminating diet, you’ll be increasing the diet’s effectiveness because of Pau d’Arco’s properties.
Pau d’Arco can also be taken in liquid and capsule form, but for tea it’s recommended that 1 tablespoon of the bark be used to make 4 servings of the tea daily. It has a slightly bitter or sour taste so if the tea isn’t for you, try the capsule form of Pau d’Arco. You can find Pau d’Archo tea in most herb shops or you can order it online from a reputable source and include this herb in your Candida fighting arsenal.

I was wondering what is it Pau d’Arco Tea, and then I realized it is sold as “Lapacho tee” here in Europe.
P.S. What do you think about this :

He says that the Serotonin and Norepinephrine blood levels can be “normalized” by low sugar diet.
I thought that my migraine and depression were caused by toxins produced by candida, but I did not know that there is a direct metabolic pathway of high sugar content food and neurotransmitters level in brain. I am very surprised. Anyway, this theory suggest that anticandida diet works also for migraine, depression and bipolar patient even though they do not suffer for candida overgrowth. ( Or they just do not know that they do have candida?) Recently I was reading a very interesting research about autistic children and candida overgrowth. They found out they can treat it very successfully with high dose of antifungal durg nystatin. But this was in 70′s , and I do not know how it later evolved .
Thank you for your advice and kind help to all anticanda fighters
Please excuse my poor English, it is my third language.
