Dr. T. Simoncini, an oncologist in Rome, Italy has hypothesized that many cancerous tumors are the result of Candidiasis. Simoncini believes that most of the medical world is on the wrong track when it comes to cancer research. While there is some genetic evidence for some types of cancers, he believes that on the whole this attempt to explain the cause of all cancer has failed.
As the doctor researched cancer patients and their lab results he noticed a shocking correlation. In the majority of biopsies taken of cancerous tumors there where Candida cells mixed in with the cancer cells. Also medical records show that cancer patients are often diagnosed with some form of candidiasis as well.
Dr. Simoncini, also correlates his hypothesis to the plant word. It is accepted that all plant tumors are caused by fungus. When a plant is attacked by a fungus it reacts by forming a cellular mass around the fungus. He believes that this is the same with humans. When Candida is able to invade certain tissues, the body reacts by forming tumors.
Not only does the doctor believe he has found the cause of cancer, but he also believes he has found an effective treatment. He treats his patients with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). His first successful patient was an 11 year old boy dying of leukemia. He either injects the sodium bicarbonate directly into the tumor or he injects the solution into the major arteries that feed the tumor. The Sodium Bicarbonate treatment works best if the cancer is caught early and in cases where the tumor is easily accessible.
Conclusions
I find this doctor’s Candida/Cancer hypothesis pretty fascinating and think it’s worth some more research. Although Dr. Simoncini is gaining some headway in the medical community, overall, his hypothesis of the Candida Cancer relationship isn’t accepted and his sodium bicarbonate treatment isn’t published in any scientific journals.
In light of current cancer therapy, where the patient is in reality being poisoned with the hopes that the cancer dies before the patient, I think any alternative therapy should be explored. Especially a therapy that has hardly no side effects. We also have to ask ourselves if we really trust modern medicine that at times seems to want to keep us sick so they can keep the drug companies in business. Cancer research/treatment is a billion dollar industry so just think of the money that would be lost if most cancers could be cured with baking soda… It makes a person wonder.
Baking soda is a good therapy to treat external Candida so it is logical to think that it would work internally. However, is the cancer a result of the Candida or is the Candida caused by a weakened immune system due to the cancer? In any event, this is compelling research concerning the Candida/cancer relationship and treatment thereof.
