Quick and Easy Yeast Eliminating Meal Idea

One of the biggest struggles people who are on a yeast infection eliminating diet face is coming up with meal idea’s.

It can be challenging to eliminate the yeast feeding foods, while incorporating the yeast eliminating foods into meals you will actually want to eat.

I usually stick to 3 or 4 meals as my staple meals so that I always have something to fall back on if I’m out of other ideas or just don’t feel like using the mental energy or time to come up with a new meal. Besides my lentil curry recipe, this meal would be my number two quick and easy yeast eliminating meal.

Chicken Breast, Sweet Potato, and Steamed Broccoli

1. Chicken Breast: Take a hormone-free, boneless chicken breast and cut it down the middle so it’s butterflied and thin. Coat the breast with coconut oil. Season with some sea salt, garlic, and cayenne pepper. Grill the chicken breast about 3 minutes on each side until done.

2. Sweet Potato: Wash a medium sized sweet potato, poke it with a fork, and place it in the microwave. Cook for 3 minutes, turn it over, and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Cover with a bowl in the microwave until you’re ready to eat it. (Of course, sweet potatoes could also be cooked in the oven and this may be a better option if you’re cooking for several people.)

3. Broccoli: Steam fresh broccoli until desired tenderness. (Eat as much of this as you want, broccoli is a great way to bulk up on food without adding a lot of calories and is highly nutritious.)

4. Serve: I usually start the sweet potato first because it will stay hot under the cover in the microwave while everything else is cooking. I always put a little natural butter and salt on my sweet potato and remember not to eat the skin. You could also try some greek yogurt on your sweet potato if you want something besides butter.

This meal usually takes me about 15 minutes to prepare and is very filling because of the fiber in both sweet potato and the broccoli. This meal is very low GI because of all the fiber so your body will be nourished while the yeast in your system won’t be. Enjoy!

Candida safe cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. Most of the time just focusing on combining some lean protein with some low starch, colorful veggies is all it takes to make a nutritious Candida eliminating meal.

everything that I’ve read else where states that sweet potatoes aren’t ok either…for me if it’s in a grey area then it’s a not gonna have it.

starch vegetables are NOT okay. That is what yeast feasts on. Also, the microwave is a big no-no.
